Lahore: As the Eid-ul-Adha is approaching, the price of petroleum products is expected to decrease significantly.
For the next 15 days, petroleum products are likely to be dropped by 9.30 rupees. From June 16, the price of petrol is expected to decrease by Rs9.28, while the price of diesel is expected to fall by Rs4.02. In addition, the price of kerosene is likely to decrease by Rs2.
In the last one week, the price of crude oil has dropped in the international market. The effect of the price reduction in the world market is likely to be passed on to the public.
According to media reports, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) will send the summary to the government on June 15. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will give the final approval regarding the prices of petroleum products.
