Islamabad: The World Bank approved giving 150 million dollars to Pakistan.
The country director of the World Bank Najy Benhassine said that the money will be spent on increasing the number of children at the primary level in Punjab and improving studying skills. Five million children, 7,000 head teachers and more than 165,000 teachers will directly benefit from the project.
Najy Benhassine further said that more than seven million children are out of school in Punjab. This project will help the Punjab government to reduce this number considerably.
