Rain likely in East Punjab, Potohar, Upper KP

Islamabad: The weather will remain very hot during the day in most of the plains of the country, but rain is likely at a few places in North-East Punjab, Potohar and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the evening.

According to the Department of Meteorology, most of the areas of Balochistan are under the grip of extreme heat. Sibbi was the hottest place in the province. The maximum temperature reached 48 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature was recorded in Quetta at 36 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most of the districts of the province, while there is a possibility of dusty and gusty winds in the central districts of the province.
