Pakistani 'King of fruits' reaches Singapore
The summer season, also called season of mangoes. Likewise Pakistani mangoes are world famous for their unique and diverse taste.
Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri Sunday expressed joy over Pakistani mangoes catching international market.
On his official twitter, the spokesperson wrote, “Glad to see Pakistani mangoes, we proudly call “king of fruits”, reach the Singaporean consumers”.

As per Chinese analyst, Pakistani mangoes are expected to enter the Chinese market on a large scale this summer.
In 2020, Pakistan held a mango tasting event in Shanghai and the feedback from the Chinese consumers was very positive.
Pakistan is the third largest mango exporter in the world, and mango is known as the ‘King of Fruits’ in country.
Mango is also the main export fruit of Pakistan.
In 2018, country’s mango production reached 1.9 million tons, ranking sixth in the world.
The soil and climate conditions in Pakistan are particularly suitable for the growth of high-quality mangoes, which can be supplied for five to six months every year.
