Federal govt provides additional 500MW electricity to Karachi
Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry says federal government provided additional 500 Megawatt electricity to coastal city which resulted in less load shedding during extreme hot weather.
Talking to media persons in Karachi, the minister said that Sindh Government was transferred 1600 to 1800 billion rupees during the last three years but basic infrastructure is in worst form.
Criticizing the Sindh government, Chaudhry said people were demanding the intrusion of governor rule in the province.
“Law and order situation is also bleak and street crimes are on the rise which shows pathetic approach of provincial government,” he stressed.
He said big hospitals of Karachi have been handed over to Federal Government on the direction of the Supreme Court.
"Government’s budget 2021-22 was people-friendly and this year Pakistan will rapidly grow its economy," he added.
