Per tola price of yellow metal settles at Rs242,300

Karachi: Gold prices increased in the local bullion markets of the country on Wednesday in line with an increase in the international rate.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the per tola price of the yellow metal settled at Rs242,300 after a single-day gain of Rs800, while the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs207,733 after it registered an increase of Rs686,
On Tuesday, gold price per tola remained unchanged at Rs241,500 in Pakistan.
The international rate of gold increased by $21 to settle at $2,345 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
