Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned explosion near the Takhtbhai Jalala


Mardan: Three people were killed while seven others were wounded when an explosive device planted on a bridge was set off in the Mardan district, police said.
The blast took place as a police vehicle was passing along a bridge in the Takhtbhai Jalala area of the district. A speeding rickshaw on the bridge was also caught in the explosion, killing three people, while seven others, including two policemen, sustained injuries.
Rescue 1122 confirmed that one of the deceased initially survived the blast, but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

In an X post, the Interior Ministry condemned the blast and expressed condolences for the victims. “Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemns the explosion near the Takhtbhai Jalala,” the tweet said.
