According to the Institute of Statistics, the rate of inflation in the country has increased by 0.11 percent in recent weeks


Lahore: The trend of increasing inflation rate continues in the country.
According to the weekly report of inflation issued by the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the prices of 23 essential items of daily use increased and the prices of six essential items decreased in the recent week, while the prices of 22 products remained stable.
According to the data, the price of powdered milk has increased by 6.07 percent, chicken by 16.34 percent, fresh milk by 1.37 percent, gram dal by 3.47 percent, moong dal by 1.02 percent and lentil by 1.23 percent.
On the other hand, the price of potatos has decreased by 0.86 percent, onions by 1.55 percent, tomatoes by 19.47 percent, eggs by 0.61 percent and flour by 0.61 percent.
According to the Institute of Statistics, the rate of inflation in the country has increased by 0.11 percent in recent weeks, while it has declined to 23.33 percent on an annual basis.
