Syed Murad Ali Shah says the PPP was not consulted regarding the decision to impose a ban on PTI and that the PPP does not support banning any political party

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) is not in favor of imposing bans on any political party.
Syed Murad Ali Shah mentioned that he reviewed the security arrangements for processions and gatherings in various areas. He said that all security agencies, including the police and Rangers, are on high alert, and local government bodies and KMC have also been activated for arrangements.
He talking to the media at Numaish Chowrangi in Karachi on Wednesday.
The CM said he is overseeing the security arrangements for the central processions in Karachi and Hyderabad, emphasizing that a new wave of terrorism is ongoing in the country. The security assessments will continue until the end of the processions.
When asked about the potential ban on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Murad Ali Shah clarified that the PPP was not consulted regarding the decision to impose a ban on PTI and that the PPP does not support banning any political party.
He added that PTI must also reflect on its role, stating that merely winning seats or obtaining votes does not constitute a political party. He emphasized that PTI has reached this point due to its own actions.
