Prime Minister offered Pakistan's support to Oman to deal with menace of terrorism


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Friday offered cooperation to Oman to combat terrorism.
Sultanate of Oman Ambassador Fahad Sulaiman Khalaf Al-Khorosi met with Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister House Islamabad.
Shehbaz appreciated the immediate steps taken by Oman and the cooperation with the Pakistani Embassy for the repatriation of the dead bodies of the Pakistanis who were martyred in the attack and for the treatment of the injured.
The Prime Minister offered Pakistan's support to Oman to deal with the menace of terrorism. During the meeting, the Prime Minister expressed his best wishes for His Highness Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, while the telephonic conversation with the Sultan on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha and Eid-ul-Fitr was also mentioned the conversation.
The premier reiterated his earlier invitation to His Highness Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to pay an official visit to Pakistan as soon as possible.
He that relations between Pakistan and Oman are based on common history, faith, and culture. He expressed Pakistan's desire to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, especially trade, investment, energy and defense.
The Prime Minister thanked the ambassador for encouraging the delegation to visit Pakistan next week for cooperation in trade and investment and assured him that the relevant authorities would provide full support to the delegation to achieve mutually beneficial results.
On this occasion, the Ambassador of Oman thanked the Prime Minister and conveyed good wishes from the Sultan of Oman, reiterating his country's desire to further expand trade and investment relations with Pakistan.
