Tram service on roads of Lahore now
The tram route will have a stop every one and a half kilometers
Lahore: The Punjab government has approved to start tram service in Lahore to increase the beauty of the city.
In a meeting presided over by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, approval to start tram service in Lahore was given by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA).
According to reports, the tram service will be run to Liberty, Main Market, Mini Market, and Hali Road while the tram will cover a total distance of 11 kilometres.
The tram route will have a stop every one and a half kilometers.
MM Alam Road will be converted for tram service while tiles will also be used on the road.
