Poliovirus has been found for the first time in the environmental samples of Dadu this year

Dadu: The polio virus was also confirmed in the environmental samples of Dadu's Masan Mohalla.
According to officials, poliovirus has been found for the first time in the environmental samples of Dadu this year. Apart from there, the virus was also confirmed in the environmental samples of eight more districts.
The officials said that poliovirus has also been confirmed in environmental samples from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Karachi, Loralai, and Quetta.
So far in Pakistan, more than 220 environmental samples from 52 districts have been found to contain poliovirus and nine children have been infected with polio.
