The government has decided to issue a COVID immunization certificate after the first coronavirus dose to remove obstacles for Pakistanis travelling abroad.

A spokesman of the Ministry of Health told a local news outlet that "Pakistanis travelling abroad will be given a partial certificate after the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine so that they do not face any difficulty in travelling due to lack of vaccination certificate."
A district health officer in the federal capital Islamabad also confirmed the issuance of a vaccination certificate on the first dose.
According to the officer in charge, "Pakistanis travelling abroad will not have to wait for the second dose for the AstraZeneca vaccine certificate. They will be given a one-dose certificate on the first dose to complete the travel document."
Where to get the vaccination certificate after the first dose?
According to a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Pakistanis travelling abroad will be issued a "partial certificate" after the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which can be obtained from the Vaccine Center.
'Overseas travellers can take the second dose in four weeks'
Health Ministry spokesman added: "In countries where entry is required to take two doses of the vaccine, a second dose is allowed four weeks after the first dose to facilitate it. '
"People who need to take a second dose of AstraZeneca to complete their travel documents will not have to wait 12 weeks, but after four weeks, 28 days, they can get a second dose of estradiol," he said.
"People who have received the first dose of AstraZeneca in foreign countries can obtain a second dose from any vaccine centre by showing documentary evidence," he said.
It may be recalled that the government of Pakistan has allowed administering the AstraZeneca vaccine to men over the age of 18 to solve travel problems.
