Meteorological Department has issued an alert
Lahore: The Meteorological Department has predicted that the monsoon rains in Lahore will continue till August 3 and 4.
Another spell of Monsoon may rain today (Wednesday). The Meteorological Department has issued an alert. It is cloudy in the early morning in the city, the humidity in the air is being recorded at 82 percent.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has also directed Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners (DCs), Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA), the Irrigation Department, Rescue, Civil Defense, and other concerned departments to remain alert.
Due to the monsoon rains, dengue attacks have also increased in the city, and 11 patients have been reported in the last 24 hours.
