Shehbaz Sharif was briefed about strategy to deal with polio

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met the national anti-polio team in Islamabad during which he said that all state resources should be used to completely eradicate the virus.
The provision of polio vaccine to every child should be ensured in areas with security challenges, stated the Prime Minister .
On this occasion, the polio team informed the Prime Minister about the plan of two, four, and six months.
Shehbaz Sharif was briefed about the strategy to deal with polio.
He said that it is disturbing to know that Pakistan is one of those countries where the polio virus is a challenge.
The Prime Minister stated Pakistan has made significant progress against the polio virus due to the hard work of frontline workers, the determination of the government, and the cooperation of partners.
The prime minister’s coordinator and other high dignitaries also attended the meeting.
