Karachi: A 34-year old man-property dealer by profession was shot dead for resisting a robbery near Gulshan-e-Iqbal in Karachi on Friday.

The incident took place near a Bakery where the victim identified as Naushad was allegedly gunned down.
Police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased to a nearby hospital for postmortem.
The police officials stated that two armed men snatched deceased’s mobile phone and Rs180,000 at gunpoint.
When he resisted, they fired at him,” said police.
The victim did not sustained his injuries and died on the spot.
The deceased hailed from Mirpurkhas and recently came to Karachi to start his business.
The police found a bullet casing from the scene and registered an FIR. However the accused are still at large.
