This versatile warship is equipped with advanced terminal defense systems

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Navy's newest warship, PNS Haneen, set sail from the port of Constanța, Romania, on Saturday, marking the beginning of its first journey towards Pakistan.
Before its departure, the Fleet Commander of the Romanian Navy paid a visit to PNS Haneen, where he met with the commanding officer and extended his best wishes for the voyage.
PNS Haneen engaged in a bilateral naval exercise with the Romanian vessel, Lastunul, as a parting drill before it departed Romanian waters.
Constructed at Damen Shipyard in Romania, PNS Haneen is the third in a series of four offshore patrol vessels. This versatile warship is equipped with advanced terminal defense systems, cutting-edge electronic warfare technology, and robust anti-ship and anti-air warfare capabilities.
Designed to undertake extended operations with a multi-role helicopter, PNS Haneen is a formidable addition to the Pakistan Navy's fleet.
With the induction of PNS Haneen, the Pakistan Navy's ability to conduct regional maritime security patrols in the Indian Ocean will be significantly enhanced.
