Sialkot International Airport celebrates Independence Day

Sialkot: Country’s only private sector international airport, the Sialkot International Airport celebrated Pakistan Independence Day with the traditional fervor and zeal on August 14th.
The event was marked by active participation from both the Sial Staff and passengers, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
Chairman Hassan Ali Bhatti, Vice Chairman Faraz Akram Awan, and CEO Sial AVM (R) Tanwee Ashraf Bhatti participated in the event.
The celebrations began early in the morning with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem.
The terminal was adorned with green and white decorations, symbolizing the colors of Pakistan's flag. Passengers arriving and departing on this special day were greeted with national songs, traditional sweets, and a warm patriotic spirit.
The airport staff joined passengers in celebrating the occasion by distributing flags, badges, and souvenirs. A special photo booth was also set up, allowing travelers to capture their Independence Day memories.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman SIAL Hassan Ali Bhatti expressed, "This day is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our forefathers for our freedom. We are honored to celebrate Pakistan's Independence Day with our passengers, who are an integral part of our community.
This event reflects the unity and love we all share for our beloved country."
