Zabihullah Mujahid said that if Pakistan wants, we can play the role of mediator between Pakistan and TTP

Kabul: Afghanistan's interim government has offered to mediate between Pakistan and the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Afghan government, while addressing an interview with the British broadcasting organisation, said that they want good and brotherly relations with Pakistan.
He stated: “Both countries need better relations with each other. We do not allow anyone to wage war in another country using Afghan soil. Pakistan should share if it has any information in this regard”.
Zabihullah Mujahid said that if Pakistan wants, we can play the role of mediator between Pakistan and TTP. If the government of Pakistan wants, then we will make efforts on the principles of brotherhood, otherwise, we cannot interfere and it is their job because it is their internal problem.
It is pertinent to note that in recent months, Pakistan has repeatedly raised its voice on the incidents of cross-border terrorism from Afghanistan, and in this regard, it has formally registered a protest by summoning the Afghan Minister of Foreign Affairs and has also presented evidence of infiltration into Pakistan to the Afghan government.
