ECP states SC has already granted the Election Commission the authority to conduct a recount

Rawalpindi: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday ordered to recount votes in the National Assembly constituency NA-79 Gujranwala.
ECP directed the Returning Officer to complete the recount within two days and issue Form 49.
After the recount, the notification of the successful candidate will be issued.
The order states that the Supreme Court has already granted the Election Commission the authority to conduct a recount.
The Returning Officer is also instructed to review the rejected votes during the recount and submit the report within two days.
It is noteworthy that PTI-backed Ehsan Warraich won from NA-79 Gujranwala, while PML-N's Zulfiqar Ali had requested the recount.
