Heavy rains: Flights face difficulty in landing at Karachi Airport
Flight from Addis Ababa to Karachi could not land even after circling for an hour and went back
Karachi: Due to torrential rains, flights are facing difficulty in landing at Karachi Airport, while many flights have been delayed.
According to aviation authorities, the foreign flight from Doha to Karachi could not land and was diverted to Muscat.
On the other hand, the flight from Addis Ababa to Karachi could not land even after circling for an hour and went back.
The departure of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Karachi to Islamabad was delayed by 8.5 hours. As per the flight schedule, flight PK300 will reach Islamabad at 4:00pm instead of 7:00am.
According to the flight schedule, flights arriving from Istanbul and Bahrain are also delayed. PIA flights from Multan to Muscat and Al-Qasim are also delayed.
According to the schedule, PIA flight PK129 from Multan to Al-Qasim will depart at 9:20pm. Multan to Muscat flight PK171 will depart at 8:00pm. Lahore Dammam PIA flight PK247 will depart at 3:15pm with a delay of three hours. Islamabad Dubai flight PK 233 will depart one hour late at 2:30am.
According to aviation authorities, there is a delay of eight hours in the departure of the flight from Lahore to Karachi, four hours in the departure of the flight from Islamabad to Karachi, and two hours in the departure of the PIA flight from Islamabad to Karachi.
