Karsaz accident case: Police allowed to interrogate Natasha Danish in another case
Suspect of the Karsaz accident has been booked in another case of drugs after medical report
Karachi: A Judicial Magistrate in the Eastern District on Saturday granted permission for the arrest and for interrogation of Natasha Danish, the suspect in the Karsaz accident case, in connection with a new case involving drug use.
The court issued this order following a request from the local police for the arrest and interrogation of the suspect.
The Magistrate also directed the Senior Superintendent of the Women's Jail to facilitate this process and allowed Investigating Officer Mohammad Shakir to question the accused before sunset.
The court held that Dr. Zainab Arshad's final medico-legal report had confirmed the presence of methamphetamine, commonly referred to as ice, in Natasha Danish's system. The report led to the filing of a new case against her, with the investigating officer authorized to arrest and interrogate the accused.
This new case is related to Natasha Danish's earlier involvement in a fatal accident on Karachi's Karsaz Road, which resulted in the death of a motorcyclist and his daughter.
According to the police, the new case was registered at the Bahadurabad Police Station based on the medico-legal report and under state oversight. The charges include drug-related offenses, with narcotics confirmed in the accused's urine samples.
The medical report for Natasha Danish confirmed the presence of methamphetamine, also known as ice, in her system, linking her to both the accident and the drug use case.
