IG Punjab stated that police will crush the nefarious intentions of the enemy in the future as well


Mianwali: Punjab Police thwarted the attack of Khawarij terrorists in Mianwali.
The Khawarij terrorists attacked Mianwali's Qabul Khan police check post late at night with rocket launchers and hand grenades.
However, the Punjab Police once again responded with full force and foiled the terrorist attack while the terrorists escaped after the attack.
According to the police spokesperson, 12 to 14 Khawarij terrorists took advantage of the darkness of the night to attack the Qabul Khan check post with rocket launchers and hand grenades.
The spokesman said the attack was foiled due to the alertness of the Punjab Police personnel posted at the check post. The police repulsed the terrorist attack with heavy retaliatory fire.
According to the police spokesman, two cops were slightly injured in the attack. A search operation has been started in the area to arrest the fugitive terrorists.
Inspector General (IG) Punjab Dr Usman Anwar congratulated the brave personnel of Police Check Post Qabul Khan for thwarting the terrorist attack.
He said that this is the 9th attack by terrorists on Punjab Police in the last few months which was foiled. Punjab Police is a leaden wall against terrorists on inter-provincial border posts.
IG Punjab stated that our police will crush the nefarious intentions of the enemy in the future as well.
After the attack, District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali Akhtar Farooq reached and encouraged the officers.
