Javed Butt was on his way back to home with his family when four attackers on bikes opened indiscriminate fire on him, leaving him dead on the spot and his wife injured

Lahore: Muhammad Javed Butt, the brother-in-law of Khawaja Tareef, also known as Tiffi Butt—the accused in the Ameer Balaj Tipu murder case—was shot dead in the Ichhra area on Monday.
Javed Butt was attacked while returning home with his family after picking up his grandchildren from school. The incident occurred near the FC College underpass, where four assailants on two motorcycles opened fire indiscriminately.
Javed Butt was killed on the spot, while his wife, Samina Javed, sustained injuries after being hit by two bullets. Rescue teams and police, led by SP Model Town Ikhlaq Ullah Tarar, arrived swiftly at the scene and transported the injured woman to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, Javed Butt's daughter, who was also in the vehicle, was unharmed.
SP Model Town Ikhlaq Ullah Tarar confirmed that Javed Butt was struck by five bullets during the attack, while his wife received two. The gunmen reportedly tailed the car from Ichhra and fled towards FC College after the shooting.
Previously, Ameer Balaj Tipu was shot dead during a wedding ceremony by Muzaffar Hussain, a long-time associate of Tareef Butt. In retaliation, Tipu's guards killed Hussain on the spot. Ahsan, a close friend of the deceased Tipu, allegedly provided information and assisted the attackers in carrying out the murder.
Recently, Ahsan Shah was also killed, and an audio recording involving him and a woman circulated on social media.
