Student abducted for Rs30mn ransom in Faisalabad, rescued
Ransom money has also been recovered from the possession of the accused
Faisalabad: The student who was abducted from Medina Town area of Faisalabad was recovered.
According to chief product officer (CPO) Faisalabad Kamran Adil, Ayan, a student of Class IX, was abducted by armed car riders from in front of his house on Monday morning.
After being informed by the kidnapped boy’s mother, a special police team was formed which arrested the accused who took the ransom and were leaving and, on their identification, the hostage was recovered from a house.
According to Kamran Adil, the ransom money has also been recovered from the possession of the accused and a case has been registered against them in Madina Town police station.
The police said that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs30 million.
