Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Tuesday said that there is no shortage of resources in our country, creating employment opportunities is our priority. ‘We have changed the situation by working day and night’.
Addressing the Federal Cabinet meeting, Shehbaz Sharif stated that everyone is working hard, the inflation rate came down to 9.6 percent in August. The burden of inflation is gradually reducing, he also appreciated Finance Minister and his team.
The Prime Minister added that millions of people in Pakistan are very capable. There is no lack of anything. There are minerals and natural resources, the situation is gradually improving. The country should be taken forward rapidly. The measures are being taken for protocols related to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme.
He further said that this journey is difficult, but not impossible. We are sure that we will reach our destination. We have to stay focused on our goals. Our commitment to practical vision should be more than words, papers, and summaries. Creating employment opportunities is our top priority, we also have to end smuggling.
Earlier, a federal cabinet meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in which the political and economic situation of the country was discussed.
The current law and order situation of the country has also been reviewed in the federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister.
The 10-point agenda was considered in the federal cabinet meeting presided over by Shehbaz Sharif.
