Cut in prices of over 800 items at utility stores
New rates at utility stores have been implemented immediately
Islamabad: The cut in the prices of more than 800 items at utility stores has been announced.
For consumers across the country, Utility Stores Corporation has announced a 10 percent reduction in the prices of more than 800 items. The prices of available products of all varieties of 48 different brands have been reduced.
The prices of various brands of ghee, cooking oil, tea, surf, noodles, ketchup, tetrapack milk, dry milk, spices, pickles, soap, toothpaste and other items have been reduced by Rs8 to Rs60 at utility stores.
After the price cut, the new rates at utility stores have been implemented immediately.
Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) subsidy at Utility Stores Corporation is currently suspended which will be restored very soon under the new mechanism. All consumers can shop from utility stores without any hassles and conditions. Measures are being taken to bring down the prices of other essential commodities as well.
