According to the police, PTI leaders Omar Ayub Khan and Zartaj Gul Wazir would also be taken into custody.
Sources informed that PTI firebrand leader was arrested due to multiple legal violations committed during a islamabad rally on Sunday.
Marwat's arrest follows several infractions, including; a deviation from the designated route for the rally, breaches of prior agreements or commitments related to the event, and allegations of assault against the Islamabad police, said the sources.
Additionally, the rally reportedly exceeded its permitted duration and featured speeches that were critical of the state and its institutions.
