Peshawar: The arrest warrants have been issued against Special Judge Humayun Dilawar and others in the government land-grabbing case.
The Bannu Judicial Magistrate issued warrants to Special Judge Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Court Islamabad Humayun Dilawar and others in the case of illegal occupation of government land.
The anti-corruption department also obtained the arrest warrant of Humayun Dilawar, his brother Sadiq Dilawar and father Dilawar Khan from the court.
According to the case, the accused added the land to the housing society after making a fake entry in their name in the court order, causing a loss of millions of rupees to the government.
According to Chief Minister's Special Assistant on Bribery, Musaddiq Abbasi, Judge Humayun Dilawar, his brother and father are involved in fraud and creating fake land documents. He has named the land worth Rs2.5 billion in his and his brother’s name for which the evidence is also available.
He said that the case against Senior Judge Humayun Dilawar has been sent to Chief Justice and Registrar Islamabad High Court (IHC). They are also filing a complaint against Judge Humayun in the Supreme Judicial Council.
