2 cops martyred in IED explosion in Quetta suburbs
Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Zainuddin and constable Tahir Ali embraced with martyrdom
Quetta: Two police personnel were martyred in a bomb explosion targeting a police mobile in the Kuchlak area of Quetta.
According to the police, an improvised explosive device (IED), claimed the lives of assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Zainuddin and constable Tahir Ali.
“The explosion was remote-controlled which blast near police mobile while it was on patrol,” police said, adding that the bomb had been planted in the ground, meant to target the police vehicle.
The injured officers were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The bodies of the two martyrs were also transported to the hospital by the police.
