SC states that failing to implement the decision will have serious consequences

Islamabad: The Supreme Court’s eight-member bench on Saturday clarified that there was no ambiguity in its decision made on July 12.
This clarification was issued regarding the case of reserved seats, in response to the Election Commission and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) requests.
The judges who delivered the majority decision have stated that Supreme Court’s short order from July 12 was very clear, and the Election Commission has unnecessarily complicated this order.
The clarification states that failing to implement the decision will have serious consequences.
The clarification also mentioned that Barrister Gohar has been recognized as the Chairman of PTI, and Umar Ayub has been recognized as the Secretary General.
According to the clarification, the seat obtained should be immediately considered as belonging to the political party that won it. Any subsequent action cannot alter agreements made on the relevant dates.
The judges clarified that attempts to complicate a clear issue or create ambiguity are rejected.
"The list issued by the Commission is merely an administrative process, aimed at providing information and convenience to all relevant individuals. Failure to fulfill legally binding responsibilities or refusal to comply may have consequences, so the Election Commission must fulfill its responsibilities immediately."
