Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday barred the police from arresting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Sher Afzal Marwat.
IHC had summoned the details of the registered cases against the PTI parliamentarian. The interior secretary, Islamabad IG, Punjab IG, and FIA had been sent notices in this regard.
Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz of IHC said that Sher Afzal Marwat has a fear of arrest in any of the secret cases. “He should not be arrested without the permission of the court in any of the cases.”
