Pakistan Railways has announced a 10 percent decline in the fares of passenger trains

Lahore: Pakistan Railways has reduced the fares of all passenger trains.
Pakistan Railways has announced a 10 percent decline in the fares of passenger trains which will be applied to all trains including air-conditioned.
The announcement also stated that the reduction in passenger train fares will be effective from September 23.
According to the statement released by Pakistan Railways, the fares of passenger trains have been reduced despite a 20 percent increase in salaries and other expenses.
It is pertinent to note that earlier also the fares of passenger trains were reduced due to the reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
