PM travels US to attend UNGA meeting
Prime Minister's address to the General Assembly is expected on September 27
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Saturday left for America to attend the United Nations General Assembly meeting.
Shehbaz Sharif will stay in London for one day on his way to America. During his one-week visit, he will address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The Prime Minister's address to the General Assembly is expected on September 27. There is also a possibility of him meeting with the heads of various countries.
Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb, Information Minister Atta Tarar will also accompany the Prime Minister, while Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar did not go to America with the Prime Minister.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, Ishaq Dar did not go to New York with the Prime Minister due to diplomatic engagements and preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's (SCO) meeting.
