Quetta: A bomb exploded near the vehicle of the security forces in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
According to the police, a blast took place near the vehicle of the security forces in the area of Eastern Bypass Bhosa Mandi.
The police say that 12 people including policemen have been injured in the explosion and have been shifted to Civil Sandeman Hospital for immediate medical assistance, while the police and other law enforcement officials reached the place of the explosion as soon as it occurred and surrounded the area.
The bomb disposal squad has been called in and the nature of the blast is being determined. The explosives were planted in a motorcycle which was lying near the blast site, police said.
