PCB accepts Babar Azam's resign as white-ball captain
Star cricketer tendered his resignation on Tuesday evening
Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has accepted the resignation of Babar Azam as Pakistan men’s white-ball captain.
Star cricketer tendered his resignation on Tuesday evening.
The PCB spokesperson in a statement said the decision of Babar Azam showed decision showed his desire to focus fully on batting.
“The selection committee will begin the process of developing the future white ball strategy including the recommendation of a new captain,” PCB said.
The PCB said the cricket board has been supporting Babar Azam before and would continue to do so.
