Court approved PTI leader’s bail till Oct 15


Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) granted interim bail in the terrorism case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja till October 15, while the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) granted interim bail till October 16 in three cases of Salman Akram Raja on the protest of PTI Lahore on October 5.
Salman Akram Raja's application for protective bail in the terrorism case filed in Islamabad was heard in the LHC by a two-member bench comprising Justice Shahbaz Rizvi.
The court approved the interim order of PTI leader Salman Akram Raja till October 15.
It is pertinent to note that a case of terrorism has been registered against Salman Akram Raja in Police Station Secretariat Islamabad.
On the other hand, ATC Lahore Judge Arshad heard PTI's protest and encirclement in Lahore on October 5 and granted interim bail till October 16 in three cases of Salman Akram Raja.
Salman had filed applications for interim bail in three cases. The court granted bail to Salman Akram Raja on a personal bond of Rs200,000.
PTI leader was granted bail in Islampura police station, Lari Adda and Mastigate cases.
