Dubai: Australia beat Pakistan by nine wickets in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women's T20 World Cup.

Australian captain won the toss and preferred fielding, Pakistan's first wicket fell for 13 runs and captain Muniba Ali managed to score seven runs.

After that Sadaf Shams 3, Sidra Amin 12, Amima Sohail 3 and Nida Dar returned with 10 runs. In such a situation, Alia Riaz batted well and scored 26 runs while Iram Javed also scored 12 runs.

Pakistan's team got out after scoring 82 runs in the last over. Australia's Ashley Gardner dismissed four players while Annabelle and Georgia took two wickets each.

Chasing 83 runs, Australia's first wicket fell for 36 runs, Beth Mooney scored 15 runs and became the victim of Sadia Iqbal.

Captain Alyssa Healy and Alice Perry then put on a good partnership, Alyssa Healy retired hurt when the team's score reached 69, and Alyssa and Ashley completed the rest of the score for just one wicket in 11 overs.

After this success, Australia got 6 points and reached the semi-finals. Pakistan has two points.
