Web Desk: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has signed a contract for the installation of Advanced Automatic Weather Stations under the World Bank–funded Hydromet Project to strengthen a climate change–responsive early warning system.
The AWS will be installed nationwide to significantly improve weather monitoring and forecasting capabilities.
