Security forces kill six Khwarji during two operations in KP: ISPR
The operations wee conducted at midnight between Nov 3-4
North Waziristan: Six Khawarji were killed and three were injured in two different operations in North Waziristan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.
According to the military's media affairs wing, the intelligence-based operations (IBOs) were conducted at midnight between November 3-4.
Ahmad Shah alias Intizar was killed by security forces in the Dossali area of North Waziristan. During the conduct of the operation, the troops effectively engaged the Khwarij’s location.
In another incident, the movement of a group of Khwarij, who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was picked up by the security forces in the general area of Khamrang, South Waziristan district. Troops effectively engaged and thwarted their attempt to infiltrate. Resultantly, five Khwarijs were sent to hell, while three others got injured.
Pakistan has consistently been asking the Interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border.
The interim Afghan government is expected to fulfil its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by Khwarij for perpetrating acts of terrorism against Pakistan.
The security forces of Pakistan are determined and remain committed to securing its borders and eliminating the menace of terrorism from the country, the ISPR maintains.
