Angry citizens storm vaccine center in Islamabad over shortage of AstraZeneca
Islamabad: Dozens of angry citizens stormed vaccine centers in Islamabad and Lahore demanding AstraZeneca jabs.

In Islamabad’s F-9 sector, people entered the Covid-19 vaccination centre and vandalized the properties over shortage of AstraZeneca jabs.
Due to the chaos, the vaccination process remained suspended for a while and later administration sought the assistance of district administration and police to disperse the protestors.
In Lahore’ Expo Center, a large number of overseas Pakistanis staged protest and stormed Hall No 3 over shortage of AstraZeneca vaccine
It is pertinent to mention here that the government has allowed AstraZeneca to those who are travelling abroad on work permits.
The protesters had said that their passports and work permits were expiring and that they risk losing their jobs abroad.
