Terrifying nine-foot long crocodile spotted at doorstep

An alligator decided to give local residents a terrifying surprise to wake up to. This time, a family in Sri Lanka opened their front door to find a gator lounging comfortably -- and totally refusing to move.

After being scared, the family called police and informed wildlife officials about the unusual visit by the creature.

Wildlife conservation officers have managed to capture a crocodile.

However, the beast has been kicked off the family's doorstep.

Area residents say that the crocodile might have come in search of food and water.
