M. Rizwan said that the team that played the first ODI against Australia has been retained


Adelaide: In the second match of the three-match ODI series, Pakistan defeated Australia by nine wickets to level the series at 1-1.
In pursuit of the target in the match being played in Adelaide, Abdullah Shafiq and Saeem Ayub opened the innings for Pakistan and the first loss to the national team was on 137 runs when Saeem Ayub was dismissed for 82 runs. His innings included six sixes and five fours.
After that, Abdullah Shafiq and Babar Azam took the score forward and the team to victory. Abdullah scored 64 runs and Babar remained unbeaten with 15 runs.
Adam Zampa got the only wicket for Australia and gave 44 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan captain Muhammad Rizwan won the toss and decided to field.
Australia's innings were opened by Jack Fraser-McGeorge and Matthew Short, but both players were bowled out by Shaheen Shah Afridi at the start, Jack Fraser was caught for 13 while Matthew Short was caught lbw by Shaheen.
Australia's third player to get out was Josh Ingles who scored 18 runs and became a victim of Haris Rauf.
Mohammad Hasnain caught Australia's set-beater Steve Smith behind the wickets for 35 runs, while Aaron Hardy and Glenn Maxwell were caught by Harris. Mitchell Starc was bowled by Naseem Shah while Australian captain Pat Cummins became Haris Rauf's fifth victim.
Haris Rauf dismissed five players by giving 29 runs while Shaheen Shah Afridi took three wickets by giving 26 runs, Mohammad Hasnain and Naseem Shah took one wicket each.
Earlier, Mohammad Rizwan said that the team that played the first ODI against Australia has been retained and there has been no change in the Playing XI.
Australian captain Pete Cummins said they would have also bowled first if they had won the toss. They have not changed the team and have retained the team that won the first ODI.
It is pertinent to note that in the first match of the three ODI series, Australia defeated Pakistan by two wickets after an interesting contest.
