Sources further say ex-COO Salman Naseer appointed Pakistan Super League's chief executive

LAHORE: Syed Sameer Ahmed has been appointed the new chief operating officer, sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) claimed on Saturday.
The appointment of the new COO was approved at the suggestion of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. Ahmed is a former deputy commissioner in Lahore and is currently serving at the Prime Minister's House.
The sources further said that the incumbent COO, Salman Naseer, has been appointed as the Pakistan Super League's (PSL) chief executive.
