Nawaz Sharif claims country on right direction
PMLN leader says he was disqualified for life time
London: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has said that the country was on the verge of prosperity.
Addressing PMLN workers in London, he claimed that the situation was getting improved gradually. “I had been disqualified for the entire life. I had been ousted from the party’s presidency,” he remarked while recalling his ouster.
“Some people had put the country at stake for their own personal benefits,” he said.
He lavished his praise on the PML-N’s workers, saying, “The services rendered by the PML-N workers for the party are commendable. The PML-N workers are united.”
“The country has witnessed prosperity whenever the PML-N came into power,” he said.
“It was me, who had chanted the slogan of the Asian Tiger for the country for the first time.
He said: “Pakistan has missed G20 opportunity due to recent setbacks.”
Nawaz acknowledged the performance of PM Shehbaz-led government, saying, “Shehbaz Sharif is making all-out efforts to steer the country towards prosperity."
