Stolen jewelry was also recovered on the accused’s identification


Faisalabad: Police have arrested a maid who stole gold jewelry worth Rs18 million from a house.
According to the police, the stolen jewelry was also recovered on the accused’s identification.
The police spokesperson stated that a person named Muhammad Zubair, a resident of Najaf Colony had filed a complaint with the police that his daughter-in-law’s jewelry worth Rs18 million was stolen from her house.
The complainant said that he suspected his maid, Sahar Fatima, who admitted to stealing the jewelry during the initial interrogation.
The police registered a case against the accused and investigated her and recovered the stolen jewelry, on which the police have initiated further legal action.
