Price of milk and yogurt have been increased by Rs20 per kg
Lahore: Despite the Punjab government’s claims of price control, milk vendors in Lahore have increased the prices of milk and yogurt, reportedly.
According to media reports, the price of milk in Lahore has been increased from Rs180 to Rs200, while the price of yogurt has been increased from Rs200 to Rs220 and Rs230 per kg.
The reports suggest that the prices of milk and yogurt have been increased by Rs20 to Rs30 per kg in different areas of the city.
Regarding the price increase, milk vendors and shopkeepers say that the cost price has increased, hence they have surged the retail prices.
Regarding the increase in the prices of milk and yogurt, citizens said that the administration has left the citizens helpless, with no one to ask.
