Minor but important change in WhatsApp
Meta introduced new typing indicator for WhatsApp

California: Meta has made seemingly minor but very important change to WhatsApp.
Meta has introduced a new typing indicator for WhatsApp.
This change aims to increase real-time engagement during chats. This change is being introduced for iOS and Android users.
After this change, when someone types a message in any one-on-one or group chat, it will be indicated with three dots.
Earlier, when someone was typing a message in WhatsApp, ‘typing’ appeared at the top of the chat.
By the way, this was also not a useless feature, but the company thought it did not look very good.
Now after the new change, the typing word is being changed to a bubble in which 3 animated dots (…) appear at the bottom of the chat screen.
Along with the typing indicator, there will also be a profile photo of the person typing it so that you can recognize it.
This seemingly small change will make it easier to know which person is actively participating in a group chat.
This feature will prove to be more useful in group chats where it was not clear earlier which person was typing the message.
Now each person will have their own typing indicator, which will help you know who is participating in the group chats.
According to the company, the rollout of this feature has started and will be available to all users in the next few weeks.
