Lawyer said that police picked up laborers and put them in case to complete numbers

Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) discharged 32 accused arrested in the case of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest.
The 32 accused sent for the identity parade were presented in the Islamabad ATC late last night. ATC Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain heard the case. Lawyer Ansar Kayani appeared in court on behalf of the accused.
The police showed that the accused were arrested at the I-9 and Margalla police stations, but they were presented to the court from Jhelum Jail, over which the court expressed its anger.
During the hearing, police took the position that the accused were arrested on November 25 and the identity parade could not be held, and the physical remand of the accused for 30 days should be approved.
The accused’s lawyer opposed the police and said that the identity parade of the accused was not even held and the police are seeking remand for recovery. The police picked up the laborers from their homes and put them in the protest case to complete the numbers.
Later, Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain released the handcuffs of 32 accused in the courtroom and discharged them from the case, remarking that if the police arrest them again, he will have the police handcuffed.
