Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) declared eight absconding Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders as absconders in the case of burning containers at Kalma Chowk on May 9.
The ATC Lahore declared PTI leaders Mian Aslam Iqbal, Hammad Azhar, and Murad Saeed as absconders, while Zubair Khan Niazi, Hamid Raza Gilani, Muhammad Javed, Abdul Samad, and Wasiq Qayyum are also included in the list of absconders.
Acting at the request of the police, the court also issued permanent arrest warrants for PTI leaders in the case of Naseerabad Police Station.
The police stated that the accused had gone into hiding fearing arrest. Their warrants were also issued but could not be implemented.
